King Kong & the Soldiers of Orange
As tales tell, the fabled Skull Island, the canonical home of Kong, lay nestled off the coast of the Dutch East Indies. It was perhaps inevitable, then, that one fateful day, a pleasure yacht would breach its shores.
The vessel belonged to Famke van der Boomen, the frivolous and impetuous daughter of the Dutch Governor-General. The young lady and her companions, eager for adventure, disembarked immediately, only to be met by a terrifying onslaught of ferocious natives and primeval beasts. Before their communication was cut short, the ill-fated travelers managed to send a desperate distress signal.
Alarmed by the disappearance of his wayward daughter, the distraught Governor-General of the East Indies swiftly dispatched a rescue expedition. This small contingent of the Royal Netherlands East Indies Army was led by two remarkably contrasting gentlemen: the young, inexperienced, yet arrogant Lieutenant Pieter van Brok, and his second-in-command, Sergeant Jack "Daredevil" van Buren, a seasoned and hardened American mercenary of Dutch descent.
The rescue party reached the treacherous island on December 6, 1941. Within hours, our heroes found themselves battling not only the indigenous tribes, colossal dinosaurs, and giant apes, but also a new breed of monster: an elite death squad of the Imperial Japanese Naval Infantry. This formidable unit was commanded by Lieutenant Colonel Kenjiro Satake, a notorious war criminal whose bloody trail stretched across all over Asia...

The movie was immediately banned in the USSR and several other Eastern Bloc countries for its rampant imperialist propaganda of sex, violence, and decadent bourgeois values. Soviet audiences only managed to see it at the very end of Gorbachev's Perestroika, when there were almost no forbidden topics left.

Как нетрудно догадаться, это постеры примерно 14-месячной давности, сегодня роботы рисуют гораздо лучше.
