Many modern parents seek to acquaint the baby with the basics of mathematics long before they start entering first grade. And this is absolutely correct, because mathematics for a baby is a whole complex of basic concepts and skills, without which mastering school education will be impossible. However, in the process, parents must remember one important thing: you do not need to teach your child to mechanically memorize sequences of numbers and the results of addition and subtraction mechanically. When teaching mathematics at a preschool age, it is much more important to achieve a child's understanding of what is behind the symbolic representation of numbers, the formation of awareness of the very essence of mathematical operations. It is necessary to teach the child not to cram, but to understand, reflect, enjoy the search for the right solution to the problem.
