The author became fascinated with leatherworking and has been slowly sewing various items for himself and friends for two years now. During my self-study, I've seen an endless stream of newcomers to this craft. They're like meteorites in the sky, catching fire but quickly burning up in the atmosphere. Afterwards, they try to sell the tools and leather they've bought.
I started thinking about what a person who won't give up the craft should look like. What drives them, what motives, what demons fuel their energy. And I came up with an idea that, of course, doesn't fully reflect reality and is even a little crazy, but I think it might appeal to those "in the know" and they'll understand what I'm talking about.
