Topic: Veloria. First Dive: The Scale of Epochs.

As promised, I’m beginning to lift the veil of secrecy surrounding my upcoming fantasy universe. So that you can immediately grasp the scale and depth of the world I’m creating, today we’ll be talking about time.

The history of Veloria is not linear. It’s a vast, monumental canvas divided into several great Epochs. Each of them lasts for millennia, encompassing the rise and total collapse of civilizations, the birth of ancient factions, and wars that shook the very foundations of the earth.

In my drafts and chronicles, the chronology is detailed down to the smallest atoms. You will see three fundamental historical layers:

The Ancient Age of the Ancestors (the beginning of everything, from which the roots of Illuvion, Elerials, and Archions extend).

The Age of Darkness and the Great Schism (the time when the iron pathos of fortresses and bastions was forged).

The New Age of Doom (the period in which the key events of the first book will unfold).

Each era lasts for thousands of years. This is a vast evergreen forest that you will soon immerse yourself in. The text is written calmly and without haste. Hold the positions.

* FIRST AGE (Duration: 2720 years) ️ Beginning: The fall of Haliron into the Amber Sea, the birth of Vortaron and the continent of Frostworn. Essence: The Great Exodus of the Elves, the War of Retribution, the fall of the Traurgat Citadel.

* SECOND AGE (Duration: 4114 years) ️ Essence: The onset of fragile peace in Osteron. The secret corruption of 30 human kingdoms by the servant Synestor.

* THIRD AGE (Duration: 3009 years) 🪓 Essence: fratricidal chaos. 30 human crowns are at war with each other due to mental corruption. Decline and isolation of the Eldar.

* FOURTH AGE (Duration: 2210 years) Essence: The Era of the Pathfinders (Vordens). Lonely guardians protect the ruined roads of Osteron from the necromancers.

* FIFTH ERA (Duration: 4,754 years) Essence: The Era of Prophecy and Steel. The emergence of the Chosen One, the reforging of swords, the final battle against Synestor.
